Job summary

Bourbon County Preschool Head Start in Paris, Kentucky is seeking a dedicated Child Care Worker to support our early childhood program. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and experience with school age children is preferred.

You will follow state and district guidelines, assist with daily activities, maintain records, and provide a safe, nurturing environment for children, with required First Aid/CPR certification and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Experience working with school age children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out program goals and objectives.
• Develops, facilitates, and carries out daily planned activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of child care environment.
• Obtain First Aid and CPR training and certification.
• Obtain 15 hours or more of state approved professional training annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
