Job summary

Bourbon County Preschool Head Start in Paris, Kentucky is seeking a Head Start - Preschool Lead Teacher to implement a preschool program for eligible participants. The role reports to the Head Start - Preschool Director and requires IECE certification or equivalent.

• Write objectives for each child including disabled children.
• Fill out enrollment forms and document family data.
• Refer families for needed services using referral forms.
• Send documentation to Central Office on time.
• Submit withdrawal forms to Central Office after withdrawal.
• Ensure classroom is safe and clean.
• Conduct drills (fire, tornado, bus evacuations) per policy.
• Meet goals of Head Start - Preschool Program.
• Manage parental activities and two parent conferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head Start Director.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary, benefits and work year to be established by Board approved schedule.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually.
