Qualifications

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is helpful but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen staff.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and culinary execution.
Prepare, cook, portion, and present food according to guidelines and safety standards.
Evaluate food quality and doneness through tasting and visual checks.
Maintain clean and sanitary workstations and storage areas.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
Follow allergen-handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
Receive, label, rotate, and store deliveries and inventory.
Contribute to menu planning and communicate with team about orders.
