Ecore-International is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Grinder Operator in Lockport, NY. The role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment, grinding blades, and refurbishing parts across multiple machines to support production.

Candidates should read drawings, use precision measuring tools, and troubleshoot issues. Preference given to those with CNC programming and multi-axis experience, with weekend and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Must provide own basic hand tools.
• Experience operating Blanchard grinders or similar grinding equipment.
• CNC programming experience.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
• Forklift and/or crane operation certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machining equipment.
• Operate additional equipment, including Blanchard grinders, and other shop machinery as production needs require.
• Fabricate and refurbish industrial blades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
