TeamHealth seeks a compassionate internal medicine physician to join our post-acute care team in Denver, Colorado. This full-time role involves rounding in an inpatient rehab facility with strong support, training, autonomy, and earning potential.

You'll deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in a comprehensive onboarding program, clinical mentorship, and leadership development opportunities in post-acute medicine.

Qualifications

• Current physician license (state of CO) and DEA
• Experience in post-acute or acute clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inpatient medical assessments, including history, physical exams, and review of rehabilitation goals
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with the rehabilitation plan
• Monitor functional progress and adjust treatment plans to support recovery goals
• Collaborate with rehabilitation physicians, nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide medical education to patients and families related to recovery, comorbidities, and prevention
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations

Full-Time Post-Acute Physician In Denver, CO

This is afull-timeopportunity (5days/week)rounding in an inpatient rehab facility, with excellentsupport and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $198,500 to $271,000annually and no cap on productivity income potential.

In this role, you’ll provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families. You will have an opportunity to deliver exceptional care during life’s pivotal moments.

Our comprehensive clinical and operational leadership team will support your transition into our medical practice with a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program along with a dedicated clinical field mentor and support from industry leading clinical experts in post-acute medicine. Growth and leadership opportunities within this market are available as well.

Modules in our Medical Director Leadership Academy (MDLA) will position you for success in quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with the facility leadership as a valued partner of the team. This educational program is best-in-class and not provided by any other organizations practicing post-acute medicine.
