Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a licensed physical therapist for the 37629 High Point Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation in Thomasville, NC. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri with occasional Saturday clinic coverage, offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll assess and treat patients, document evaluations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote quality care.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from accredited physical therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state of applicable state.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and policies; promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Performs patient care assessment and treatment; develops and implements treatment plans with realistic goals.
• Maintains accurate documentation: evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes and ICD-10 codes as appropriate.
• Meets department productivity standards and adjusts schedules to meet patient/department needs.
• Participates in process management to improve quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers and represents the department on committees.
