Qualifications

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled treatment focused on strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance, and mobility.
• Establish functional goals and monitor resident progress throughout treatment.
• Modify treatment approaches based on clinical needs and response to therapy.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with PTA, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
