Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a flexible part-time or PRN role at Autumn Lake at Long View in Manchester, MD. The PTA will deliver therapy under a licensed PT, focusing on mobility, strength, and independence for residents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance, and mobility.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident goals.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
