Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time day shift. You will assess, plan, and implement PT care per Maryland law and APTA ethics, collaborating with physicians and families to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You’ll care for patients from neonates to elders, applying growth and development concepts to meet individual needs. Role requires weekend/holiday work and proficiency with basic clinical computer systems for documentation and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with a B.S., M.S. or D.P.T. degree in Physical Therapy.
• Adheres to the APTA Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics.
• Must be able to evaluate and treat patients in any hospital unit within professional scope of practice; writes, speaks, and comprehends English.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing and able to become proficient on basic computer systems used for documentation, scheduling and charging.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing the physical therapy care and treatment of patients in an effective and professional manner in accordance with Maryland State law and the APTA Code of Practice and Ethics.
• Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals, staff and families to ensure quality care.
• Therapists provide assessment and care for patients of all ages from the neonates through the geriatric patient.
• Therapists utilize growth and development principles appropriate to the patients’ age to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
