Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD, seeks a part-time Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant to provide therapeutic services under supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will assist in developing and implementing a rehabilitative plan, monitor progress, and educate patients and families.

Engagement with the rehab team, contribution to performance improvement, and commitment to a patient-centered healing environment are essential, with a Day shift and onsite parking offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from PTA training program accredited by APTA.
• State of Maryland PTA License or eligible to obtain licensure before hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services under supervision of licensed PT to patients across age continuum.
• Develop and implement a rehabilitative plan of care with realistic goals.
• Educate patients, family members, students, staff and community.
• Coordinate services with other medical disciplines and make recommendations as appropriate.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and Risk Management.
