Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist to join our inpatient/outpatient care team on a rotating shift. The role focuses on assessing, planning and implementing PT services with emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will hold a Maryland PT license, have acute care experience and be proficient with hospital information systems, delivering compassionate, quality care across age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with a B.S., M.S. or D.P.T. degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Maryland license verified by the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current BLS (AHA).
• Acute care experience required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat patients across hospital units; English proficiency required.
• Willingness to become proficient with hospital documentation and scheduling systems.
• Acute care experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals, staff and families to ensure quality care.
• Therapists provide assessment and care for patients from neonates to geriatrics.
• Therapists apply growth and development principles appropriate to patient age.
• Additional training may be required per department guidelines and best practice.
• Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
