Job summary

Arbour Hospital in Quincy, MA seeks a Social Worker for the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to join a multidisciplinary team. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, and focuses on underserved patient populations within a trusted behavioral health system serving the greater Boston area since 1909.

The PHP Clinician position requires a Master’s in Social Work, licensure as a clinical social worker is preferred, and prior geriatric psychiatric experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, counseling, or other human services related field
• 1-3 years of geriatric psychiatric experience preferred
• LCSW, LICSW, LHMC, or LDAC is preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
• Lead therapy groups
• Document clients’ treatment
• Complete diagnostic assessments
• Provide crisis intervention
• Provide milieu management
• Coordinates, arranges, and monitors discharge planning and continuity of care

Education

Master’s Degree in Social Work

Geriatric psychiatric experience (1-3 years preferred)

Licensure preferred (LCSW, LICSW, LHMC, or LDAC)
