Job summary

Arbour Hospital in the Boston area seeks a Social Worker to join the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) team as a clinician. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week at Green Street in Jamaica Plain, with opportunities to work with underserved populations and a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, and licensure such as LCSW/LICSW preferred; 1–3 years of geriatric psychiatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, counseling, or other human services related field.
• 1-3 years of geriatric psychiatric experience preferred.
• LCSW, LICSW, LHMC, or LDAC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments.
• Lead therapy groups.
• Document clients’ treatment.
• Complete diagnostic assessments.
• Provide crisis intervention.
• Provide milieu management.
• Coordinate, arrange, and monitor discharge planning and continuity of care.

Education

Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field

The Adolescent PHP Clinician is a vital part of Arbour Hospital’s multidisciplinary treatment team. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a recent Master’s level graduate or an experienced licensed clinician who is passionate about working with underserved patient populations. This is a full time, Monday – Friday, 40 hour per week position at Green Street in Jamaica Plain.
