Job summary

Arbour Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Social Worker PHP Clinician for a full-time, Monday–Friday, 40-hour-per-week position at Green Street in Jamaica Plain (Boston area). The role supports an adolescent PHP program with opportunities for professional growth and licensure supervision within a multidisciplinary team.

Required is a Master’s in Social Work or related field; licensure (LCSW/LICSW) preferred. Prior geriatric psychiatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, counseling, or other human services related field.
• 1-3 years of geriatric psychiatric experience preferred.
• LCSW, LICSW, LHMC, or LDAC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
• Lead therapy groups
• Document clients' treatment
• Complete diagnostic assessments
• Provide crisis intervention
• Provide milieu management
• Coordinates, arranges, and monitors discharge planning and continuity of care

Education

The Adolescent PHP Clinician is a vital part of Arbour Hospital's multidisciplinary treatment team. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a recent Master's level graduate or an experienced licensed clinician who is passionate about working with underserved patient populations. This is a full time, Monday - Friday, 40 hour per week position at Green Street in Jamaica Plain.
