Job summary

Volunteers of America seeks a Personal Caregiver (PCA) in Eckert, CO to provide compassionate care in a Senior Community Care PACE setting. This paid role supports residents with daily activities, personal care, and mobility, enabling independence at home and in day centers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year's experience working with the frail or elderly population.
• Active CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with non-skilled activities of daily living (ADL's) in the home and Day Center, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with non-skilled restorative and supportive care, including ambulating and transfers.
• Assist with Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADL's) such as grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Support participant activities in the Day Center, including meal service and clean-up.
• Performs other duties as required or requested.
