Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in practice state.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification within 90 days if pediatrics encountered.
• Minimum one-year OR/Perioperative experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans across physical, psychological, social, and developmental domains.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities; communicate with physicians and team members.
• Implement and document care per orders; ensure policy compliance and care continuity.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust plans; provide patient and family education.
• Document assessments, plans, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in department leadership and staff development.
