Community Health Systems, Inc. in Crestview, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a full-time day shift. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, mobility support, and reporting data to nursing staff. You will work under RN/LPN supervision in a safe, organized environment.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of acute care experience or is enrolled in a nursing program; CNA is strongly preferred and BCLS required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record vital signs and report findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support patients with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with patient positioning and use mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform blood glucose monitoring.
• Communicate patient information effectively within the care team.
• Adhere to infection control and PPE protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and risk management.
