Job summary

Qualifications

• Job related experience required in accounting, payroll processing or bookkeeping.
• Experience working in accounting and/or auditing.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, benefit processing, and pertinent software applications.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll documents; reconcile payroll records and reports; verify calculations including salary rates and deductions.
• Monitor web-based timesheets for accuracy and approvals; update system as needed.
• Process direct deposits in-house and prepare voucher register for benefit deductions.
• Audit and authorize payment of bills from benefit and deduction vendors; maintain records and reports.
