McLaren Health Care Corporation is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to move patients safely across the medical center for tests, procedures, admissions and discharges. The role requires assisting patients with mobility, using wheelchairs or stretchers, and adhering to hospital policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least three months of related experience. Prior medical exposure is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three months of job related experience.
• Prior related medical experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate patient movement from current location to tests, procedures, admission, or discharge.
• Assist patients in and out of bed, in wheelchairs, stretchers, or transport vans.
• Use patient handling equipment safely per hospital policy.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times.
• Collaborate with team and follow supervisor directions.
• Clean mobility equipment after use per policy.
• Observe and report patient responses during delivery.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and health care regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow infection control policies.
• Perform other related duties as required.
