Job summary

100 Aurora Health Care Metro, Inc. seeks a full-time hospital food service worker for Aurora Sinai Medical Center.

You will assemble patient and mobile meal trays according to diet guidelines, load carts, and deliver meals to patient rooms while maintaining sanitation and service standards. Responsibilities include operating the cash register, assisting with cafeteria service, and supporting catering events.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food service in a hospital, hotel, or related setting.
• Ability to read and understand written and oral communications.
• Good communication and customer service for internal and external customers.
• Intermediate computer skills including e-mail/internet and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble patient and mobile meal trays according to approved diet guidelines and portions, adhering to productivity standards.
• Load and transport food carts.
• Deliver patient meals to rooms per procedures.
• Assist in cafeteria service and maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
• Operate cash register and complete daily reports as needed.
• Perform sanitation and cleaning duties in kitchen and cafeteria.
