Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at USA Health University Hospital in Mobile, AL. The role is full-time with days and hours varying. Pay ranges from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour and prior food/nutrition experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer suitable menu options for allergies and preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient choices and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow regulatory standards and HIPAA policies to protect patient privacy.
• Maintain HACCP guidelines when handling food and sanitation of work areas.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted diets or calorie counts.
• Communicate issues to staff promptly and complete daily/weekly/monthly reports.
