Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) in Bangor, ME. You will support patients by helping with menu selections, assembling, delivering and picking up meals, and contributing to safe, satisfactory dining experiences.

The role requires English literacy, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and move food carts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills required.
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Assemble, deliver and retrieve meal trays on a timely basis.
• Maintain patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring correct meals and temperatures.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain cleanliness of work stations.
• Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
