Job summary

Jovie is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our on-call nanny team in the Issaquah area. This role supports families with in-home childcare, with flexible shifts on weekdays between 7 am and 7 pm.

You will care for children from infants to toddlers, with emphasis on safety and age-appropriate activities, and you will not be responsible for transporting children. We offer $22–$26 per hour, paid training, a nanny kit, and opportunities to advance within the childcare field.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for on-call shifts.
• Availability for at least 3 weekdays, 6–8 hour shifts between 7am and 7pm.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in-home, but not required to transport them.
• Minimal duties other than light cleanup after activities or meals.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children's age-appropriate development

• Pay: $22 per hour - $26 per hour per hour

About You

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
• Reliable transportation
• Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
• You are available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
• Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor and a bright smile to greet each family!
