Crowne Plaza Charleston SC is hiring for a Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering/Maintenance team. Experience is a plus, but we train the right person; pay ranges from $17–$23 to start based on experience with a 90-day evaluation potential for pay increases.

Candidates should be mechanically inclined, comfortable using basic hand and power tools, and eager to learn HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance or repair experience.
• High school diploma or vocational training.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics and preventive maintenance procedures.

NOW HIRING - FULL & PART-TIME MAINTENANCE TECH

We are looking for a Maintenance Technicians to join our Engineering/Maintenance team.

Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. We are looking for both experienced and limited experience team members. Experience level will determine rate of pay, ranging from $17 - $23 to start dependent on experience. A 90 day evaluation may lead to an increase in pay.

Requirements

What we need from you:

• Experience – you’ll have at least one year of maintenance or repair work under your belt
• A high school diploma or related vocational training
• On top of building equipment and hand tools, you’ll have a working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics and preventative maintenance procedures
• Fitness – you’ll be on your feet most of the day, and will need to bend and kneel a lot
• Great communication skills, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
