Job summary

LRC2 Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. You’ll perform routine maintenance, respond to guest service requests, and help keep building systems safe and functional.

This role requires a high school diploma (technical certification a plus), HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, ability to read manuals and blueprints, and the stamina to lift 50 lbs. Weekdays, weekends, holidays, and special events may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.
• Proven experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background check and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
• Respond promptly to guest service requests for maintenance issues
• Inspect and maintain building systems including safety equipment and emergency lighting
• Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and maintenance shop
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or landscaping
• Work with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security procedures
