Qualifications

• Must have 60 college credits or completed the 20-hour substitute certificate course or have passed the ParaPathways/ParaPro assessment.
• Experience working with children or individuals with significant support needs or disabilities is preferred.
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills required.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with significant support needs.
• Assist students with academics, communication, and daily living skills as needed.
• Implement behavior support plans and instructional strategies under classroom direction.
• Support students with mobility, transitions, and classroom participation.
• Reinforce social, emotional, communication, and functional life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and related service providers.
