Qualifications

• CA paramedic license and drivers licenses required.
• Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS or related certs listed.
• IS-100/200/700/800 FEMA certs required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best course of action per protocols.
• Use paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the paramedics on scene and manage the unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety teams.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
