Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position with immediate start. Hourly rates start at $24.00 plus DOE.

The role includes leading Paramedic teams, driving ambulances on 911 calls, and delivering high-quality patient care across diverse scenarios. Qualified candidates will hold a State Paramedic License, EMT certifications, and a valid driver's license; a driving record compliant with policy and agility testing are also required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
State Paramedic License required.
State Driver's License required.
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
Driving record must comply with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test required.
Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess call situations and determine best action with Paramedic protocols.
Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
