Qualifications

• BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Paramedic licensure and driving privileges must be active.
• High school diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment to provide advanced care including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
