Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Paramedic Basic for Medics Ambulance Service. Immediate, full-time position with hourly rates starting at 22.40+ DOE. The role focuses on compassionate patient care with opportunities to provide both basic and advanced medical support.

Responsibilities include on-scene leadership, operating defibrillators and monitors, IV therapy, and ambulance driving on 911 responses. FL paramedic license and certifications are required, with driving record and agility test

Qualifications

Florida Paramedic license is required.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass Physical Agility Test.
Healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as Paramedic team leader and manage the scene and unit when needed.
Assess call situations and determine the best course of action.
Operate medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) and IVs.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
