Qualifications

• Must have a valid state paramedic license.
• Current BLS/ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best course of action.
• Use paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and family to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
