Job summary

United Surgical Partners International seeks a Full-Time PACU RN at Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center. Candidates should be a licensed RN with 1–3 years of PACU experience, preferably from an ambulatory surgical center, and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 1–3 years' PACU experience; ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ post-operative condition.
• Monitor vital signs and progress to meet discharge criteria.
• Log and chart findings in patient files.
• Monitor for condition changes and report to physician.
• Perform intervention duties during post-operative emergencies.
