United Surgical Partners International (USPI) Timonium Surgery Center in Maryland is seeking a Full Time Pre Op/PACU RN to provide continuous, high-quality care for patients before and after anesthesia. The role includes monitoring, safety, and coordination with physicians during procedures.

Qualifications include RN licensure in Maryland, BLS/ACLS (PALS per center), and 2 years PACU/ICU experience; strong nursing judgment and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients in PACU.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as appropriate.
• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate for discharge readiness.
