Job summary

Allied Universal North America’s leading security and facility services company is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Research Triangle Park, NC. You will conduct unarmed patrols, assist tenants and visitors, and maintain a strong, visible presence to deter incidents while providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting daily activity and incidents.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and contacting emergency services or management as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift changes.
