Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our full-time overnight team. You will monitor residents' health, support care staff, and help ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence. A compassionate, adaptable team player is essential.

Responsibilities include coordinating admissions, medication administration, and collaborating with physicians and other providers. State regulations knowledge and patient-centered care are valued.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN) required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing preferred.
• Compassion and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Medication and treatment administration and ensure medications are administered per physicians’ orders.
• Assistance with coordinating care and services with other outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes.
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
