Concept Rehab is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) for a full-time role in Woodhaven, Michigan. The OTA will provide individualized therapy in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, helping residents improve daily living skills, documenting progress, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure resident-centered care.

Qualificações

• Michigan OTA license in good standing is required.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide OT interventions under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents to improve strength, balance, mobility and independence.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on therapy goals.
• Support activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, bathing, self-care).
• Monitor responses to treatment and report progress to the supervising OT.
• Document sessions and resident progress accurately.
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff for resident-centered care.
