Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA is seeking a Temporary Occupational Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team to support students with visual impairments and complex needs. You will assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services to promote independence and confidence.

You will provide direct therapy, prepare reports, and participate in IEP/ISP meetings while collaborating with teachers, clinicians, and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Registered as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts.
• Experience with students with sensory deficits in vision or multiple disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy to students with visual impairments and complex needs.
• Deliver clinical evaluation services and develop written reports.
• Consult with program staff and participate in IEP/ISP meetings and program planning.
• Develop measurable goals and ongoing treatment plans for students.
