Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a Medical Assistant for Asheboro Primary Care - Surgery: Orthopedics. Provides front-line patient care, rooms patients, collects vitals, and documents complaints and allergies.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine and advanced clinical tasks within MA scope after demonstrated competency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients, obtain vital signs and document health information.
• Assist physicians with procedures and follow pre-approved care protocols.
• Administer routine medications under orders and manage referrals.
• Communicate clearly with the care team to ensure smooth clinic flow.
