Work Schedule

• Monday - 7:00am-4:30pm
• Tuesday - 7:00am-4:30pm
• Wednesday - 7:30am-4:30pm
• Thursday - 7:00am-4:30pm
• Friday - 7:00am-4:30pm
• Two Saturdays a month 7:30am-2:00pm

Position Overview

Smilebuilderz is seeking a skilled and motivated Oral Surgery Dental Assistant with DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) certification. This role involves assisting oral surgeons during various dental procedures, ensuring high patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Patient Preparation: Prepare and escort patients, ensuring comfort, updating medical histories, and taking vital signs.
2. Assist Oral Surgeon: Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
3. Radiographic Procedures: Take and process dental X-rays, following safety protocols.
4. Patient Education: Instruct on post-operative care, oral hygiene, and follow-ups.
5. Record Keeping: Document patient info, treatment plans, and procedures accurately.
6. Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain dental equipment.
7. Collaboration: Work with dental team members for comprehensive care.
8. Continuing Education: Stay updated on advancements in oral surgery and assisting.
9. Compliance: Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and DANB guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• DANB Certification (current)
• DAANCE certification within 12 months of employment
• Experience in oral surgery or related field (preferred)
