You will assist the optometrist with intake, visual screenings, eyewear fittings, and portable equipment setup while maintaining infection control protocols. The position offers a consistent schedule and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Optician or Optometric Technician preferred.
• Experience serving geriatric or senior populations preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift and transport equipment, typically 25-50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a federal background check and drug screening.
• Professional, punctual, and able to work independently.
• A heart for serving seniors and underserved communities.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll help bring quality vision care directly to senior citizens and underserved communities in a structured, mission-driven healthcare environment.

At CMC, your work has a direct impact. You'll support optometry care in senior-focused outpatient clinics, helping patients who may have limited access to essential vision services.

This is not a high-volume retail model. We focus on quality care, meaningful patient interaction, and strong support for the providers and clinical teams we serve.

There may also be opportunities to cross-train in additional clinical areas such as audiology and podiatry.

What You'll Do
