Shopko Optical in Bismarck, ND seeks a Full-time Optical Sales Associate to provide exceptional patient and customer service in eyewear selection, ordering and dispensing. No experience necessary; on-the-job training and certification are provided.

Duties include pre-screening, lab work orders, billing and inventory management. Responsibilities cover customer service, frame recommendations, lens options, measurements, and maintenance of inventory to support patient care and efficient store

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Maintain license as required by state.
• On-the-job training and certification provided.
• Previous experience in optical dispensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service in eyewear selection and dispensing.
• Prepare work orders for Optical Lab.
• Process medical billing information.
• Maintain frame inventory.
• Assist patients with frame repairs and adjustments.
• Assist Optometrist with case histories and screenings.
