Job summary

Shopko Optical in Duluth, MN is hiring a Full-time Optical Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service and assist with eyewear selection, ordering, and dispensing. On-the-job training is provided and no prior experience is required.

The role involves assisting patients, performing pre-screening tasks, preparing lab orders, and handling basic billing while maintaining inventory and customer care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintain license as required by state (if applicable).
• Complete Shopko OCE Certification and modules to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to company and optical center standards.
• Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to meet patient needs.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, measurements, and prescriptions.
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally.
• Assist with frame repairs and adjustments and teach lens care.
