Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Experience scrubbing in generalized surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, Plastics) and minor procedures in ortho/neuro/ENT/Uro.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for assigned procedures.
• Maintain sterile field during cases and assist surgeon with supplies and instruments during procedures.

Education

BLS (AHA) certification
