Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 10 years of construction inspection experience.
• Experience working independently during night shift operations.
• Strong understanding of plans, specs, standards, and contract documents.
• Experience documenting field observations and preparing inspection reports.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and industry practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during night shift operations.
• Verify compliance with approved plans, specs, permits, and codes.
• Monitor workmanship, methods, materials, and installation practices.
• Inspect earthwork, paving, utilities, structures, and traffic control.
• Identify deficiencies and document corrective actions.
• Coordinate field testing with laboratories and consultants.
• Review material certifications, test reports, and inspection records.
• Maintain daily inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and safety plans on site.
• Prepare daily reports using approved software.
