Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents as a married couple to provide care and guidance for a group of 8–13 students on campus. You will supervise daily routines, coordinate schedules, supervise wellness, and lead devotions and Chapel attendance as part of a close-knit team.

The role starts with nine days on, then three days off, with the long-term path to a placed houseparent living situation.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple married at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
