Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, schedules, delivering devotions, transportation to activities, budgeting, and reporting. Compensation includes $46,917 per person with housing and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year marriage required for couples.
• Both spouses must be age 27+.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and lead developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
