Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initial duties involve nine days on, three off, with later transition to a placed houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role requiring married partners for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
