Job summary

ProHealth Home Health and Hospice in Columbus, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, on-call Hospice role. You will provide skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients at home, support families, and collaborate with the IDG team to ensure compassionate, high-quality care.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, Georgia RN license, and at least 2 years of nursing experience (Hospice preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse to practice in the state.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse (preferred).
• Ability to work independently, make judgments, and respond to crises.
• Acceptance of diverse social, racial, cultural, and religious contexts.

Responsibilities

• Regularly assess and reassess nursing needs of Hospice patients.
• Provide Hospice nursing services, treatments and preventive procedures.
• Teach, supervise and counsel patients and family members about care.
• Coordinate care plans with IDG and supervise nursing staff.
• Maintain records and follow HIPAA regulations.
