The Malvern School of Newtown Square is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Older Toddler classroom. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

You will design and implement an engaging Early Childhood Education program, maintain a safe learning environment, and communicate with families using in-person and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in ECE/related field or human services.
• Bachelors with 30 credit hours in ECE and 1 year of child experience.
• Associates degree in ECE/related with 2 years of experience.
• Associates degree with 30 credit hours in ECE and 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement a high-quality Early Childhood Educational program.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and via technology to meet expectations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field

Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE/related and 1 year of experience with children

Associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children

Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE/related and 3 years of experience with children
