Job summary

The Malvern School is looking for a Lead Teacher for the Older Toddler classroom at our Oaks location. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, guiding a classroom with a strong focus on safety, growth, and family engagement.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree with experience in early childhood education, and will collaborate with families and staff to deliver a high-quality program aligned with NAEYC benchmarks.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 30 credit hours in ECE/child development/special education/elementary education or human services and 1 year of experience with children

Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE/child development/special education/elementary education or human services and 3 years of experience with children

Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE/child development/special education/elementary education or human services and 2 years of experience with children
